Jon reports, "We qualified 59th (still running the car in) - the other Courier, run by a English/German friend, Adrian Stoop was 55th. The race starts at 6pm - it was light and dry (3 drivers x 2 hr stints - fuel for 2 hrs) and after the first stint we were up to 22nd. It is now dark and raining. After 4 hrs we're 28th (the other Courier sadly is out with accident damage) and at the last stop for driver/fuel our car won't start !! Lost lots of time to what eventually turned out to be head gasket/misfire problem - so we finished 35th out of 58 finishers, which we are pleased with as it is my first race with the car ---should have been in the top 20....maybe this year!"
